After a considerable hiatus from creative activities, I recently completed a new project - with a familiar theme: manhole covers. This time, I used a chemical etch to frost the glass of a 9x9x2 shadow box. Inside, I created a ring of 25 LEDs so that when the piece is plugged in, it glows with eerie dimensionality.
