 These trinket / jewelry boxes measure approximately four inches square and 1.75 inches tall. The sides are fashioned out of heavy-weight quarter-inch transparent acrylic. The box lids are made from 3/8 inch transparent black acrylic and are etched with the designs of manhole covers found in St. Louis, Missouri. To open the box, simply depress one side of the cover and it will pop up like a real manhole cover. These boxes have considerable heft and a pleasant feel. Their bottoms are elevated by small rubber feet to protect any surface on which they rest.  |
