This is my second project that uses the Arduino platform, Bluetooth connectivity, and a custom iPhone app. I built the box out of anodized aluminum. The base and top are pine boards through which I passed about 2000 volts of electricity. This so called "Lichtenberg" technique causes dendritic patterns to be burned into the wood. I then filled the charred valleys with glow-in-the-dark resin.
